BBC Children in Need - 'Celebrating Glasgow'
‘Celebrating Glasgow’ was broadcast on giant screens by the main stage of Radio 1’s Big Weekend Event to a crowd of 25,000.
The filming took place over two days as Heehaw’s film crew immersed themselves in four of the Glasgow projects Children in Need supports. The projects continuously help children and young adults from different areas of Glasgow and activities ranged from ‘street play’ initiatives to basket ball coaching.
For this project I created and animated all of the 3D Pudsey graphics using Cinema4D and After Effects. I also created a standalone 20" animation which was shown at the live performance, you can see extracts from this in my current showreel.
